Lately I have been...
Stressing
Worrying
Studying
Procrastinating
Stressing
(did I say that already?)
Yep, the end of this semester is drawing to a close, and I've been getting a little overwhelmed with all the assignments and exams coming up. I SO appreciate your prayers as I finish. I'm hoping I have more time for blogging when I'm done in a couple weeks.
I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving though. I love being with my family and enjoying the time we have together. I also love watching the parade and anticipating the Christmas season. What are all of you doing for Thanksgiving this year? Are you staying home or traveling? My family is staying home, but we'll be visiting my grandmother who lives nearby. If your families have any particular traditions you do every year, I'd love to hear about them.
So...it's off to studying for me! Take care everyone.

Sara, I am rather busy myself with school...though I have graduated, I am doing some additional studies.
My family is staying home for Thanksgiving as well. We'd love to go see my grandparents in FL, but that is too far.
As to traditions, we have the same breakfast every year while we watch the parade...every year. We also watch the dog show...every year. And believe it or not, it's my dad and brother who go shopping the day after Thanksgiving and not Mom and me. =) I am letting them have the privilege of getting for me an mp3 player if they are on a good sale.
Have a blessed week. I will be praying for you!
I hope you have a lovely stress-free Thanksgiving...recalling all the goodness of the LORD in your life. This is the day the LORD hath made...let us rejoice and be glad in it.
I just came back from an early Thanksgiving (reunion). We played family trivia and laughed so much we hurt!
My tradition..is making a huge Gingerbread House and filling it with candy...or even little toys for my g'children.
I'll be posting this years Gingerbread House on my blog later. Last years was a Newlywed House for my son and DIL.
I'll pray for you Sara that all goes well. Just trust the LORD and don't be hard on yourself.
HOPE
Ella, I like watching the dog show too whenever I get a chance on that busy day. =) That's funny your dad and brother are the ones who go out shopping...I do NOT like Black Friday, so I try to stay away from any shopping place as much as possible that day!
Hope, that Gingerbread House sounds like so much fun! My mom made one last year too. I'm glad you were able to see your family for Thanksgiving.
Thank you for your prayers!
Awww, don't stress. :-)
Every year I get up way before parade time and sit on the couch waiting. Then I watch the parade...all the way until the end. Then the dog show comes on. While that is on I get dressed and read to go to my cousin's home. It is always the same. Then the rest of the day includes eating and football. :-)
